There are many of you out there that are looking for the best method of passive income on the internet. There are several ways to make a passive income, however, many people forget that you need money to make money. There is no real way to start with nothing and somehow have money pouring out of the internet every month. I am not going to sit here and try to sell you on some BS method of doing online surveys for money, or Amazon reviews for cash or anything like that. You have to be realistic about earnings potential.
The first thing you are going to need to do is get some money. I know this might come as a shock to a lot of people but your best method of passive income is going to start with hard work. Respect the Hustle and start earning. “But what if I can’t get a job?” Ok, at this point in time there are about one hundred different outlets and ways to make income without a college degree, lest you have a car and a little bit of ingenuity. The sharing economy is on fire right now. Whether you are hitting the streets with UBER and Lyft, or renting out a spare room with AirBnB, there are plenty of avenues with which to make extra cash.
Respect the hustle. From there, without a doubt, the best method of passive income is investing in the stock market. I have written about this before but it needs restating. You get yourself a portfolio, and you get your money into the market. If you don’t know anything about investing, just put your money into an index fund. The S&P 500 index fund under the ticker SPY is one of the safest and highest earning investments you can make.
You sit that money in the market for the next 30 years and you watch it grow. You watch it grow into a beautiful nest egg. And then you retire and live life happy. It’s not about timing the market, its about time in the market. Don’t let anyone sell you on some BS that you can make $30k a month from home with zero money, sitting on your butt, doing nothing. Real income takes hard work.
The majority of the money you make in your life is going to come from sweat equity. Not from some invisible source of revenue coming from a fly by night recommendation on Pinterest. Respect the hustle, embrace the suck, and save your money. Invest your money without having delusions of grandeur in your head that you’re going to strike it rich within the next 30 days. Life is a grind, and you need to grind hard to create the life you want to live.
